Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer (5G Call Processing) to join the Networks Engineering organization in Plano. You will translate customer requirements into system specifications, lead design across RF/PHY/MAC layers, and guide pre-sales with robust technical solutions.

You will analyze 4G/5G protocols, support product validation, and collaborate with SEA and HQ teams to drive successful deployments. Occasional travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS required; advanced degree beneficial.
• Minimum 12+ years wireless industry experience; 5G concepts and 3GPP Rel-16/17 familiarity.
• Experience with 4G/5G air interface, RAN architectures, and protocol analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Develop product requirements and system requirements for 5G/6G features.
• Perform deep-dive analysis of 4G/5G call processing and network architectures.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, QA, and sales to enable product rollouts.
