Job summary

Samsung Electronics is seeking a Senior RAN Engineer to translate customer requirements into system design for 4G/5G networks, EMS, and NMS deployments. You will collaborate with SEA and Samsung HQ teams on new product rollouts.

Requires a Bachelor's in EE/ECE or related field with 5 years in telecom roles, expertise in RAN virtualization, OpenStack, ETSI MANO, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Netconf/YANG/RESTful, and 3GPP core/RAN. Up to 20% travel; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

Bachelors in EE/ECE/related field with 5+ years in telecom/engineering roles.
5 years of experience in RAN virtualization and EMS.
Experience with telecom software architecture, deployment, and E2E service integration.
Experience authoring EMS NE software upgrade MOPs and executing them in networks.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer requirements and convert to system requirements and detailed design.
Support pre-sales with technical and commercial solutions and RCA root-cause analysis.
Communicate complex design considerations between Samsung sales and carriers.
Collaborate with SEA and Samsung HQ teams for new product rollouts and developments.
Travel up to 20% domestically to visit US customer locations.
