Job summary

This role partners with planning, aerospace engineering, tooling, and shop-floor operators to turn engineered concepts into producible, high-quality parts on a 5-axis platform. Qualifications

• 7+ years NC programming for production machining.
• 5-axis NC programming experience for aerospace parts (aluminum & hard metals).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing docs.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 NC programming.
• Proficient in NC verification tools (Vericut).
• Ability to create setup docs and operator instructions.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), tooling geometry, and setup docs for multi-axis CNC (primarily 5-axis).
• Develop NC programs from engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements for aluminum and hard metals.
• Develop multiple setups/operations to meet producibility and tolerances.
• Produce setup sheets and operator instructions for consistent, safe operation.
• Use Vericut or similar tools to validate programs and avoid collisions.
• Troubleshoot and iterate programs from first article inspections and shop-floor feedback.
• Lead design of custom fixtures and tooling for multi-setup machining (Level 4).
