Job summary

The Structures Company is seeking a seasoned Numerical Control Programmer 5 for its Everett, WA area client, focusing on CNC programming, robotics, and automation in a high‑production environment.

You will read engineering drawings, select NC approaches, and apply CAD/CAM tools such as CATIA, Vericut, MasterCAM, and Robot Studio to optimize manufacturing cells and robot programming with ABB, KUKA, and Fanuc systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-speed machining in a production environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in CAD/CAM software including CATIA, Vericut, MasterCAM, Robot Studio, or CENIT.
• Certification or training in automation or robotics.

Responsibilities

• Develops technical requirements for NC and manufacturing processes.
• Identifies equipment and approaches for NC programming.
• Manages implementation of new computing applications for design, machining, or inspection systems.
• Trains and mentors others in automation and robotic programming.
• Applies knowledge of ABB RobotStudio, ABB robots, KUKA robots, Fanuc robots, automation control systems, design, machining, and robot cell programming.
• Works with 3D modeling and high-speed machining in a production environment.
