Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions in Blandon, PA is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to design and optimize programs for 5-axis milling, mill-turn, and Swiss turning operations. The role focuses on CAM-based programming, fixture tools design, and collaboration with machinists to resolve issues.

You'll leverage GibbsCAM and Mastercam, implement efficient feeds and speeds, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Technical training in precision machining or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years CNC machining/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in GibbsCAM, Mastercam or similar CAM; knowledge of G-code for multi-axis.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, and machine control systems.
• Knowledge of quality instruments and how to use them.
• Experience with business side: quoting, customer relations, production planning.
• Self-starter, reliable, detail-oriented, team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for new and legacy 5-axis, mill-turn, and Swiss parts.
• Program parts and fixtures using Gibbs CAM.
• Optimize feeds, speeds, and processes for efficiency.
• Design fixtures and cutting tools.
• Use machine simulation to ensure collision-free code.
• Aid in quoting new work with manufacturability feedback.
• Set up and run CNC mills and lathes to support NPI and continuous improvement.
• Mentor machinists and teach new skills.
• Collaborate with machinists to resolve programming and machine issues.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas.
