Job summary

B&A Precision is a mid-sized CNC manufacturer with over 50 years of operation, delivering high-precision components for Aerospace, Defense, and Medical markets. This 1st shift full-time role involves setting up and running 3-, 4-, and 5-axis VMCs, writing basic CNC programs, and ensuring quality through GD&T and precision inspections.

You will work with a tight-knit team to keep parts flowing to aerospace, defense, and medical customers, reporting to the shop President.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC milling setup and operation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc controls.
• Proficiency in CNC programming, G-Code, and CNC machine setup.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.
• Desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis vertical CNC milling machines.
• Write and edit basic CNC programs (G-code) and make adjustments at the control.
• Program and work with positional indexers to meet complex part requirements.
• Interpret blueprints; apply working knowledge of GD&T (preferred).
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools and gages.
• Partner with teammates to ensure quality, throughput, and safety.
