Job summary

Fidelity Investments is seeking a Managing Director, 401K Relationship Manager to oversee a book of defined contribution plans with strong client relationships. You will lead service delivery, coordinate with Plan Advisors, and drive strategy for Plan Sponsors.

The role requires obtaining Series 7/63 within 3–6 months, and you should bring 3+ years of retirement/401K RM experience, excellent communication, and a track record in building trusted advisor relationships. Travel ~35% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Relationship Management or Client Service experience, preferably in Retirement/401K
• Retirement plan record keeping and administration experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving, presentation and negotiation abilities
• Experience working with Financial Advisors
• Able to build trusted advisor relationships with Plan Sponsors and Advisors
• Willingness to travel ~35% and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain relationships with 40–50 client relationships, with $10–$40M in assets under administration.
• Be the primary client contact and coordinate with Fidelity personnel to deliver service.
• Plan, conduct, and document effective in-person or phone meetings with Plan Sponsors and Advisors.
• Collaborate with Plan Advisor to understand value propositions and design Fidelity solutions.
• Coordinate internal resources to analyze designs and provide recommendations to clients.
• Support Plan Sponsors with plan corrections, issue resolution, and participant literature as needed.
• Act as the lead associate for the Book of Business with supporting functions.
• Develop internal relationships to ensure seamless service delivery.
