Job summary

NPB Technology Group in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a Senior Machinist to program, set up, and machine complex 3D parts on a 4-axis horizontal CNC. This role emphasizes CAM programming, probing, and end‑to‑end ownership in a non‑production environment.

You will use Mastercam and Renishaw probing to optimize cycles, hold tight tolerances, and deliver high‑quality surfaces on demanding 4‑axis projects.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with 4‑axis machining on horizontal CNCs.
• CAM programming for complex 3D parts.
• Probing routines and in‑process inspection using Renishaw.

Responsibilities

• Program and optimize parts using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.
• Machine complex parts with 4‑axis positioning on a horizontal machining center.
• Develop efficient machining strategies to reduce setups and improve accuracy.
• Prove out programs and optimize feeds, speeds, and toolpaths.
• Generate tooling strategies for complex geometry.
