DeWitt Companies is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee warehousing, freight forwarding, and 3PL services in California. You will manage inbound/outbound flows, cross-docking, and storage while ensuring on-time shipments and accurate documentation.

You will develop SOPs, lead daily meetings, and drive efficiency through cost control and process improvements. This role requires strong leadership and a track record of building high-performing teams.

Competenze

• 7+ years of progressive leadership in freight forwarding, warehouse operations, or 3PL.
• Experience with ocean, air freight, drayage, intermodal, LTL, FTL.
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and customs compliance.
• Proficiency with TMS, WMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, financial, and operational planning skills.
• Proven ability to lead change and build high-performing teams.

• Lead day-to-day warehouse, freight forwarding, and 3PL operations.
• Oversee inbound/outbound, consolidation, cross-dock, and storage activities.
• Ensure shipments are processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions to standardize operations.
• Lead daily operational meetings and set performance expectations.
• Manage consolidation shipments via ocean, FT L, LTL, drayage, and intermodal.
• Coordinate Hawaii and island shipments and ensure complete documentation.
• Oversee shipment planning, booking, routing, visibility, and exceptions.
