Ofinno, based in Reston, Virginia, seeks a seasoned 3GPP Standards Engineer to drive global radio standardization efforts and expand the company’s IP portfolio. You will work with 3GPP RAN groups to shape next-generation wireless specifications and contribute to product-relevant innovations.
The role requires deep 3GPP experience (RAN1/2/3), a strong publication record, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in English.
Competenze
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of 3GPP standardization experience as a delegate.
- Expertise in 5G NR and next-gen wireless tech.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mansioni
- Participate in 3GPP meetings within RAN1/RAN2/RAN3 groups.
- Lead IP creation and standardization proposals.
- Develop inventions and expand IP portfolio.
- Define concepts for future RAN tech and standards.
- Design L1/L2 radio components per specs.
- Evaluate future RAN architecture and interfaces.
- Use simulations to validate concepts.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Present findings to clients and partners.
