NVIDIA is hiring for a role within the DRIVE Road Structure, Online Mapping, and Context Fusion team to advance self-driving tech. You’ll work with engineers to develop 3D world models that fuse map and perception data for safe navigation in the U.S. and China.

The role emphasizes robust software and collaborative problem solving. You’ll contribute to perception, mapping, and planning, focusing on real-time data fusion, mapless driving, and high-integrity code standards in a leading tech

Qualifications

• PhD with 1+ year, MS with 4+ years, or BS with 6+ years in a technical field.
• Strong software development experience, ideally in robotics or automation.
• Willingness to learn and grow in robotics and autonomous driving.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork in a diverse, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine perception and mapping systems for autonomous driving.
• Build real-time 3D world models combining sensor data and external sources.
• Advance BEV and mapless driving capabilities for complex urban settings.
• Create static obstacle/occupancy grids and occlusion masks.
• Collaborate with perception and planning teams and write quality code.
