Job summary

FAM Brands in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a 3D Technical Designer to drive development from concept to production, using Browzwear for fast, accurate garment simulations and digital reviews.

The role collaborates with Design, Product Development, and Production to translate vision into technically sound, production-ready garments while meeting aggressive timelines; strong pattern interpretation and global vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Apparel Development, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in apparel technical design with pattern reading, analysis, and correction.
• Proficiency in Browzwear 3D is required; strong pattern and fit skills are essential.
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, grading, garment construction, sewing, technical drawing, and fit.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3D design and digital development using Browzwear to speed up samples.
• Review patterns for fit and construction; provide corrective notes to pattern engineers.
• Create and maintain tech packs with measurements, standards, and fit intent.
• Manage fit development from handoff to pre-production and review graded specs.
• Coordinate with design, product development, and production; ensure brand alignment and timelines.
• Communicate with domestic and international vendors to resolve production challenges.
