Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years preparing 3D substation models.
• Proficient in CAD standards and design principles.
• Experience conducting walkdowns at client substations.

Responsibilities

• Work in project teams to create high voltage substation design packages.
• Produce detailed 3D models and drawings for various aspects of substation design.
• Interpret vendor information to incorporate into designs.

Skills

3D modeling using AutoCAD

3D modeling using Inventor

Knowledge of IEEE standards

Ability to visualize in 3D

Education

Associate’s Degree in Drafting or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology

High school diploma with 5 years of 3D drafting course work
