Carbon is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Santa Clara, CA team. You will develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes for our 3D printer systems and large accessories, providing hands-on support to the production line.

The role is onsite five days a week at the Thomas Rd facility. Candidates should have strong mechanical engineering background, 5+ years in manufacturing, and experience with CAD tools and SOPs.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in fast-paced environments.
• Experience using CAD tools to design fixtures/tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical, optical, and pneumatic assemblies.
• Experience creating SOPs and Work Instructions.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and improve manufacturing operations from development to production.
• Provide day-to-day support to production, troubleshoot line-downs.
• Develop new processes to improve efficiency across the line.
• Design and build test fixtures and tooling.
• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain servers and PCAs.
• Create and improve manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with Design, Systems, Production, Quality, Supply Chain.
• Train technicians and engineers on processes.
• Ensure procedures comply with safety and environmental regulations.
