Qualifications
- Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy.
- Current certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- APEXUS 340B Advanced Operations certificate (340B ACE) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a 340B Compliance Specialist or similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Epic EMR, TPA software, inventory management/pharmacy buying.
Responsibilities
- Audits and analyzes 340B compliance program tasks and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains tools for tracking and trending drug expenditures and cost savings.
- Ensures data submission for 340B pricing access.
- Analyzes financial impact of clinic/provider 340B eligibility changes.
- Keeps third-party/related software systems accurate.
- Identifies opportunities to reduce purchases at wholesale acquisition price.
- Acts as a 340B analytics resource to pharmacy administration and supply chain.
- Facilitates external and internal 340B compliance audits.
