Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in California seeks a Sr Designated Compliance Analyst to support federal and state regulatory compliance and advise on privacy and data protection. This exempt, full-time role partners with business units to design and monitor compliance controls.

You will monitor Reg Z, Reg B, HMDA, TILA, and related rules, provide 2LOD advisory, and help drive risk assessments, training, and policy development to strengthen the organization’s compliance posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 7+ years as a Financial Services experience in consumer protection regulatory compliance, internal audit, external audit, financial services operations, or consumer protection compliance program development/evaluation required
• 7+ years of consumer privacy and data protection laws and regulation (GLBA/Regulation P, FCRA, and CCPA/CPRA) and their application to credit union products, services, and information sharing required

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze applicable federal and state regulations across the organization.
• Provide 2LOD advisory and oversight on privacy and data protection requirements.
• Provide proactive compliance guidance to business units through ongoing advisory services.
• Develop corporate compliance policies and ensure alignment with 1LOD teams.
• Participate in regulatory exams, audits, and other regulatory interactions.
