• Clear understanding of how 2D prints translate to fabrication and physical assembly.
• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Drafting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D mechanical submittal drawings for complex systems using AutoCAD.
• Build comprehensive Bills of Materials and shop packets to guide assembly from design to production.
• Collaborate with fabricators on the shop floor and update as-built drawings after builds.
• Serve as technical liaison during submittal process to address client inquiries for quick approvals.
• Maintain drafting standards using internal AutoCAD tools and standards.
