Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an AutoCAD and 3D modeling specialist in Burlington, WI, to support engineering, manufacturing, and facility improvement projects.

You will develop and maintain technical drawings, equipment layouts, P&IDs, and process diagrams using AutoCAD and Inventor, while ensuring accuracy and consistency across drawings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical certification and 4+ years in industrial drafting, manufacturing design, or engineering support.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/3D and experience creating detailed industrial or facility drawings.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, BIM platforms, and 3D modeling software.
• Background in manufacturing, food & beverage, consumer products, packaging, or other industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D/3D drawings, equipment layouts, fabrication details, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Maintain drawing databases, technical documentation, and engineering standards to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Manage drawing revisions, document control, and engineering records per company standards.
• Support bid package development, technical specifications, and contractor documentation.
• Travel up to 10–20% to support facilities, project sites, and vendors.

Location: Burlington, WI

Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually

Position Summary

• Provide AutoCAD and 3D modeling support for engineering, manufacturing, and facility improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain technical drawings, equipment layouts, process flow diagrams, and design documentation.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and project teams to support capital projects, plant upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D/3D drawings, equipment layouts, fabrication details, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Maintain drawing databases, technical documentation, and engineering standards to ensure accuracy and consistency. Support conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design efforts for facility, equipment, and manufacturing process improvements.
• Manage drawing revisions, document control, and engineering records in accordance with company standards.
• Support bid package development, technical specifications, and contractor documentation.
• Travel up to 10-20% as needed to support manufacturing facilities, project sites, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Industrial Design, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in industrial drafting, manufacturing design, or engineering support roles.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD 2D/3D and experience creating detailed industrial, mechanical, or facility drawings.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, BIM platforms, and 3D modeling software.
• Background supporting manufacturing, food & beverage, consumer products, packaging, or other industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, process equipment, fabrication design, and capital project execution.
