Job summary

Invited is seeking the 1st Assistant Golf Professional at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach to oversee daily golf operations, pro-shop merchandising, and outside services, ensuring an exceptional member and guest experience.

You will lead non-exempt staff, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate training, scheduling, and tournaments while upholding Invited's standards and PGA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PGA certification level 2 preferred.
• Strong customer service and golf knowledge.
• Discretion with confidential information and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Train and lead golf and pro-shop attendants and outside services staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to staff.
• Address personnel matters with HR guidance.
• Develop work schedules and recruit qualified personnel.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of outside service areas and practice facilities.
• Oversee golf operations and merchandise profitability.
• Plan and manage club tournaments and events, including handicap program oversight.
• Foster member relationships and promote golf programs and player development.
• Provide leadership in the absence of the Director of Golf.
