Job summary

Invited is seeking an 1st Assistant Golf Professional at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach to oversee daily golf operations and the pro-shop. You will lead non-exempt staff, manage merchandising, and ensure top-tier member experiences while reinforcing Invited’s standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, program delivery, and customer service excellence aligned with PGA guidelines, with opportunities to develop staff and contribute to club events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PGA certification highly preferred (minimum level 2).
• Strong customer service experience with extensive knowledge of golf fundamentals.
• Ability to handle confidential Company information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Train and lead golf and pro-shop attendants and outside services staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback on compensation and training.
• Address personnel matters in coordination with HR and management.
• Develop and oversee staff schedules and hire qualified personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of outside service areas and practice ranges.
• Enforce policies, safety protocols, and conduct codes with timely action.
• Oversee golf operations, pro-shop, outside services, and practice facilities.
• Manage pro-shop merchandising, budgeting, inventory, and purchasing strategies.
• Plan club tournaments, events, and handicap program administration.
• Promote golf programs and engage in member/community activities.
