Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting a School Support Worker for a SEND school in Bury. The role runs 8.30am–3.00pm, term-time style schedule, with a start on 3rd September 2026.

CPD access, supportive consultant, and progression opportunities are provided. Applicants should have experience in residential, hospital, or PA roles and be ready to support pupils aged 11–19 with complex SEND needs, including autism, in a calm learning setting.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children or adults as a Support Worker.
• Genuine passion to help children develop and succeed.
• Good understanding of Special Needs and child-centered approaches.
• Willingness to provide personal care.
• Ability to work as a team with other teaching assistants to create a calm learning environment.
