Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Arnold. You will support pupils with day-to-day learning, behavioural and emotional needs while working with experienced staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
The role supports pupils from Year 1 to Year 7, with both part-time and full-time hours available. DBS and a relevant TA qualification are required, along with excellent communication and team skills.

Pay: Up to £525 per week, dependent on experience
Hours: Part Time and Full Time hours available

This role involves supporting pupils with their day‑to‑day learning, behavioural and emotional needs while working alongside experienced teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will be calm, resilient and proactive, with the ability to think on their feet and build positive relationships with young people who require additional support. This role is based within the school’s primary site, supporting pupils from Year 1 through to Year 7 (Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3).

The school is seeking individuals who are proactive, adaptable and confident in responding to the varying needs of pupils. Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND, or experience supporting pupils with behaviours that challenge, would be highly advantageous.
