Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Product Yield Enhancement (PYE) Lab Technician to support yield improvement and failure analysis in the Characterization Lab.

You will operate advanced semiconductor test equipment, investigate issues, perform data analysis, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive quality and reliability improvements. Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technical/manufacturing/lab/semiconductor environment.
• Interpret procedures, follow detailed work instructions, resolve technical issues.
• Experience using computer systems and software to collect, analyze, and communicate information.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime, and shift changes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate product lots and devices to support PYE failure analysis and characterization requests.
• Complete semiconductor test flows using approved procedures, engineering tools, and lab equipment.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain characterization and burn-in equipment (SBT, pretest stations, burn-in systems).
• Apply Linux-based systems, scripts, and engineering applications for data collection and issue solving.
• Analyze test results and verify outcomes with failure analysis and yield tools.
• Collaborate with Product Engineers, Characterization Engineers, Manufacturing, and Technical Support to resolve issues.
• Document activities, track disposition, and communicate findings.
• Support continuous improvement for lab efficiency, equipment utilization, quality, and safety.
