Job summary

Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions, seeking an electro-mechanical maintenance technician to support preventative and corrective maintenance in a 24/7 fab environment. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, using diagnostic tools, and documenting corrective actions while collaborating across teams.

The role requires reading blueprints and adhering to lockout/tagout and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Troubleshoot and repair complex electro-mechanical or automated equipment.
Education or formal training in a relevant technical field.
Structured problem-solving.
Reading blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals.
Accurate maintenance documentation.
Lockout/tagout and safety protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls issues.
Use diagnostic tools and documentation to isolate faults and identify root causes.
Monitor equipment indicators, system messages, alarms and respond to abnormalities.
Document faults, deviations and corrective actions; partner with Shift Operations, Equipment Engineers and vendors.
Proactively identify and escalate issues to support production priorities.
Follow cleanroom, environmental, and safety protocols and report hazards promptly.
Handle chemicals and hazardous energy safely and wear PPE.
