Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, sustain, and improve advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose electro-mechanical issues, document faults, and collaborate with shift operations and equipment engineers. This role requires reading blueprints and following strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and cleanroom procedures.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical or automated equipment.
• Education or formal training in a relevant technical field.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and repair manuals.
• Lockout/tagout and safety protocol adherence.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and documentation to isolate faults and identify root causes.
• Document faults, deviations and corrective actions.
• Partner with Shift Operations, Equipment Engineers, and vendors.
