Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• Effective communication, including listening and taking instruction.
• Dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow established procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and use tools.
• Experience with MS Office and wafer fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform wafer fabrication by following work instructions and documented procedures.
• Operate equipment to perform various stages of wafer fabrication (alignment, masking, etch, diffusion).
• Measure and log data from critical parameters.
• Adhere to clean room protocols and wear PPE.
• Maintain documentation and records.
• Move materials or finished goods between locations (up to 20 pounds).
• Visually inspect quality and handle GaAs wafers and precious metals.
• Mix wet chemistries, some hazardous.
• Collect and log data in computer-based applications.
