Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, Microelectronics, or a related field.
• Experience with semiconductor IC or test-chip design, tech development, or device characterization.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive design/tech improvements.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop in-house test chips, testsites, and test structures.
• Define chip- and device-level structures for electrical measurement and tech characterization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate characterization needs into testsite requirements and silicon implementations.
• Evaluate designs through design-to-mask readiness including layout review and DRC/LVS, extraction, and release processes.
• Plan and execute electrical characterization and testing of fabricated test chips to quantify device and technology behavior.
• Analyze silicon data, identify trends, and translate results into recommendations for technology or testsite optimization.
• Iterate testsite and chip designs based on measurements to improve learning and maturity.
• Document testsite architecture, measurement results, and conclusions; communicate findings to stakeholders.
