Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer to join our Semiconductor Test Engineering team. You will focus on development of production, characterization, and qualification test programs to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performance products for Broadcom’s SoCs and ASICs.

You will collaborate with design, product, and quality engineering teams to drive test coverage, optimize test time, and deliver solutions from early silicon bring-up through high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital/high-speed test methodologies and DFT.
• Experience with ATE platforms (Advantest or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Python, C, or C++.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain ATE test programs for production and characterization.
• Perform pattern processing and conversion to tester formats.
• Execute silicon characterization across process, voltage, and temperature corners.
• Define test requirements with DFT and design teams to close gaps.
• Optimize test flows to reduce time and cost while maintaining quality.
• Drive correlation between simulation, bench, and tester environments.
• Support high-volume manufacturing ramps and address test escapes.
