Job summary

ABM in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Testing, Balancing and Equipment Technician to contribute to safe operations in a semiconductor-focused facility. You will work with experienced technicians, follow OSHA 30 basics, and maintain balance during installations.

The role requires union membership with Local 359, a pre-employment drug screen, background checks, and strong English skills; willingness to work evenings or weekends if needed. This is a safety-focused, team-oriented position within ABM.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be a Sheetmetal Workers Union #359 member or sign up for the apprentice program.
• Must pass a drug screening (including THC).
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Must pass a background check, including criminal history checks.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow protocols in a chemical factory.
• Collaborate with experienced Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Technicians in a semiconductor facility.
• Maintain system and equipment balance during new installations and deinstallation.
• Troubleshoot issues where designs do not meet air requirements.
• Work as a team and stay accountable and safe.
• Assist in emergencies during evenings and weekends as needed.
