Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Goleta, CA, is seeking a Test Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software for automated semiconductor test systems. You will work closely with hardware teams on ATE platforms, instrumentation, and manufacturing systems to bring new products from development into production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong OO design and debugging skills.
• US citizen or lawful permanent resident; technical degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET software for automated semiconductor test systems.
• Develop reusable software components, libraries, GUIs, data collection tools, and automation utilities.
• Integrate software with ATE platforms, instrumentation, hardware controllers, and manufacturing systems.
• Develop and deploy automated test solutions for semiconductor production and wafer probe testing.
• Build tools to collect, analyze, visualize, and report test data.
• Prepare and debug test stations for new hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues; support root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve deficiencies.
• Develop unit tests and automated verification for CMOS ASIC products.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and configuration management.
• Create and maintain software requirements, architecture, and documentation.
• Continuously improve test automation and manufacturing productivity.
