Job summary

Kawasaki Robotics USA Inc in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Semi System Application Engineer to lead the development, testing and maintenance of semiconductor-system applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years' technical experience working on semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Experience with 3D and 2D CAD software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; articulate complex technical concepts
  • Strong organizational & time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work with limited supervision

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer’s request on Kawasaki semiconductor system application.
  • Be the technical focal point of Kawasaki semiconductor system; respond to inquiries from internal and external customers.
  • Lead prototype design projects and provide guidance to mechanical, electrical, software, and prototype teams to complete system applications on time.
  • Provide field support on customer sites during system start-up, including domestic or overseas travel.
  • All other duties as assigned.
