Job summary

Kawasaki Robotics is seeking an experienced Robotic Application Engineer to drive semiconductor robot applications from concept to field deployment. You will contribute to design, testing, and validation, creating CAD drawings and modeling while guiding mechanical, electrical, software, and prototype teams.

Travel to customer sites may be required. The role emphasizes strong communication and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable design and field support, within a full-time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of application experience in automation or semiconductor environments.
  • Experience with 3D/2D CAD software.
  • Knowledge of automation systems and vacuum environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer requests on semiconductor robot applications.
  • Lead prototype design projects and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet timelines.
  • Create CAD drawings, 3D models, and engineering documents for customer specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance on robot system issues.
  • Perform field support at customer sites, including domestic or international travel.
