Job summary
Advanced Electronic Services Inc. TN1 is seeking a Robot Repair Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test semiconductor robotic systems at the system, module, and subassembly levels, including wafer‑handling and atmospheric robots from Cybeq, PRI Equipe, Brooks Automation, Kensington Labs, and similar platforms.
You will read wiring diagrams, perform diagnostic tests, repair controllers and cabling, document actions and results, and ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies in
Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical training in robotics, mechatronics, electronics, electromechanical systems, automation, or related discipline or equivalent industrial experience.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or wafer‑handling robots preferred.
- Experience with precision motion systems and industrial automation equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot semiconductor robot systems used for wafer handling, transfer, and positioning.
- Repair or replace robot assemblies and modules including controllers, power supplies, servo drives, motors, encoders, amplifiers, vacuum end‑effectors, sensors, and cabling.
- Diagnose robot motion faults and perform alignment/calibration to restore positional accuracy.
