Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Albany, NY invites Master’s or PhD students to join the Summer 2027 Semiconductor Technology Development Internship Program. Interns contribute to advanced semiconductor research projects supporting future memory technologies and process innovations.

You will design experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with engineers and researchers to present outcomes to leadership; experience with Python, R, MATLAB, and AI tools is a plus in a world-class R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's or PhD with expected graduation December 2027 or later.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated in research, coursework, or projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for presenting technical results.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design experiments, collect data, and evaluate results to advance semiconductor technology.
• Analyze technical data using statistical methods to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams, researchers, and external partners on projects.
• Document research findings and communicate results through reports and presentations.
