Job summary

Micron Technology in Albany, NY is seeking highly motivated Master's or PhD students for the Summer 2027 Semiconductor Technology Development Internship. You will contribute to advanced semiconductor research projects supporting memory technologies and process innovations, collaborating with engineers and researchers in a world-class R&D environment.

Interns will design experiments, analyze data with statistics, and present outcomes to technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in a STEM field with expected graduation after Dec 2027.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities demonstrated in research or projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical results clearly.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design experiments and collect data to advance semiconductor research.
• Analyze technical and process data using statistical methods to identify trends and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, researchers, and external partners on technology development projects.
• Document findings and present results to technical leadership at program end.
• Leverage AI tools and analytics platforms to improve research productivity and data interpretation.
