Job summary

Rochester Electronics, LLC is seeking a Reliability Lab Operator II to set up and operate a range of environmental stress and reliability test equipment. You will plan and execute test sequences, analyze results, and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.

You will also train junior staff, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with engineers to maintain high-quality lab operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain semiconductor reliability test equipment, environmental stress equipment, and related lab tools.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment, software, hardware, sample, and process issues; escalate complex or recurring problems.
• Support reliability testing, including temperature cycling, thermal shock, mechanical shock, leak testing, solderability, bond pull, die shear, and visual inspection.
• Assist operators, technicians, and engineers with test equipment, recipes, procedures, data collection, documentation, sample movement, and analysis.
• Support reliable, cost-effective test processes that meet product, customer, internal, and industry requirements.
• Monitor throughput, cycle time, equipment utilization, test progress, and lab environmental conditions; communicate issues affecting goals or compliance.
• Maintain work quality, accurate documentation, data integrity, and compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and assignments.
• Train and mentor operators.
