Applied Materials is seeking a Ramp Program Manager in Boise, ID to lead semiconductor equipment ramp activities from installation to high-volume manufacturing. You will coordinate engineering, field service, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure ramp milestones and business objectives are met.

The role requires strong program management, stakeholder alignment, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with relocation support and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, operations, manufacturing, engineering project management, or semiconductor equipment environments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing schedules, action-items, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain ramp execution plans, schedules, milestones, and readiness trackers.
• Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to align with business objectives and customer commitments.
• Lead daily and weekly execution reviews to track progress, remove roadblocks, and drive accountability.
• Establish clear ownership, priorities, and timelines across ramp-related activities.
• Lead startup readiness and pre-flight reviews to ensure requirements are completed before installation, startup, and qualification.
• Drive closure of open action items and readiness gaps.
• Identify schedule, resource, technical, and operational risks that may impact ramp success.
• Facilitate development and execution of mitigation plans with functional owners.
• Serve as site-level escalation coordinator, ensuring issues are communicated and resolved.
• Provide status updates and executive visibility for critical issues and recovery plans.
• Build alignment among customer teams, field organizations, engineering groups, manufacturing partners, and business unit stakeholders.
• Lead lessons-learned activities and implement improvements to enhance ramp execution and efficiency.
• Maintain project metrics, reporting, and dashboards.
