Job summary

UCT in Austin, TX is seeking a Planner I to manage production planning for assigned lines, coordinating schedules from engineering plans to final product. This role focuses on ensuring timely material availability and adherence to capacity requirements.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in business or operations, 2+ years planning experience, and strong ERP/MRP skills; CPIM/CIRM is a plus. The on-site Austin role offers growth opportunities and exposure to a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business administration, operations management, or equivalent.
• CPIM/CIRM certification is a plus.
• 2+ years planning in quick-turn, low-volume, engineer-to-order env.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong command of MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor production cycles for assigned lines.
• Create work orders, releases, closures and track progress.
• Ensure materials and capacity align with schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, purchasing and other teams.
• Troubleshoot production control issues to closure.
• Interface with customers to schedule deliveries where applicable.
• Maintain production plans and monitor shortages.
