Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Process Technician to monitor and optimize manufacturing parameters, track production data, and adjust equipment to maximize yield and maintain quality. The role collaborates with process engineers to implement improvements and ensure stable output across the line.

Requirements include an Associate’s degree or technical certificate and 2+ years in semiconductor processing, plus familiarity with SPC and cleanroom/data analysis.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Automation, Electromechanical Technology, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field OR equivalent military technical training.
• 2+ years of semiconductor process technician experience.
• Familiarity with SPC, cleanroom protocols, and basic data analysis (Excel/MES).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize chemical and physical parameters of the manufacturing process to ensure product quality.
• Track production data and adjust equipment settings to maintain stability and minimize defects.
• Identify deviations from standard operating procedures and work with process engineers to implement improvements.
