Job summary

Micross in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Process Technician to support die-level semiconductor production, including wafer expansion, die sorting, and AOI inspection. You will ensure equipment readiness, maintain process documentation, and contribute to meeting daily output targets in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Royces MP300, AP+, Mulhabuer Ecoline, Mi30 die sorting platforms, and AOI systems such as Camtek Eagle AG.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related semiconductor experience required.
• U.S. person or valid Green Card holder required.
• Experience with wafer-level processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up die sorting machines and AOI systems per travelers and specs.
• Perform wafer expansion, die pick-and-place, packaging into waffle packs or Tape & Reel.
• Conduct AOI inspections, classify defects, and disposition parts per criteria.
• Record process data and maintain traceability documents.
• Support throughput, prioritize lots, and assist with root-cause investigations.
