Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Process Technician to perform setup and monitoring of semiconductor processing equipment in wafer fabrication, with guidance to line operators and collaboration with engineering on yield issues.

The ideal candidate has experience with probe manufacturing processes, automated systems, and strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 12-hour shifts are required, with lift up to 20 lbs, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of probe manufacturing procedures, processes, or data systems.
• Familiarity with automated systems and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot process problems and identify root causes.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong time management and organization.
• Experience with MTSPC and SPACE systems.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) standing all shift and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with laws.
• Supervise equipment performance and area efficiency.
• Monitor equipment via applications and improve efficiency.
• Identify capacity constraints and use tools to address them.
• Verify tool qualifications and restart failed qualifications.
• Perform cleanings and inspections (C and I) on area equipment.
• Monitor and manage SWR instructions and issues.
• Respond to SPC charts and ensure processes stay within limits.
• Escalate deviations to engineering and investigate root causes.
• Document Quality Deviations and perform CPM changes as needed.
• Manage Param Alarms and Card changes; ensure quality on tools.
• Maintain NBS Coinstacker PM, wafer and robot recovery.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Apply AI-assisted data analysis and automation opportunities.
