Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a process engineer to start up, develop, and optimize semiconductor fabrication processes. The role focuses on improving product quality and reliability through yield improvement, cost reduction, and productivity gains.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience. Candidates will apply FMEA, 8D, and SPC methodologies to resolve process issues and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Start up, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality and reliability.
• Work on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve process-related problems using FMEA, 8D, SPC methodologies.
• Coordinate evaluation/optimization of process, equipment and materials; implement changes at the process step.
