Job summary

EMD Electronics in Dallas, TX seeks a Process Engineer to provide day‑to‑day technical support for blending and CMP-related manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement on a high‑purity production floor.

The role requires a hands‑on approach with experience in SAP, LIMS, and SCADA systems, plus strong problem‑solving and teamwork to optimize quality, yield, and process reliability on site in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience, ideally in batch chemical, specialty chemical, or semiconductor materials manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily process engineering support to blending and manufacturing operations with real‑time review of batch records and SCADA/DCS trends.
• Resolve process deviations and support root cause analysis using SPC, DOEs, and basic multivariate analysis.
• Identify Lean/Six Sigma opportunities to reduce waste, improve yield, and shorten cycle times.
• Create and revise SOPs, batch records, and change control documentation.
• Support SAP data updates, BOMs, routing, and batch reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance to implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
