Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX. This role is customer-facing and leads new part and process introductions, managing engineering change control to support Operations. We may consider Process Engineer I or II based on experience and qualifications.

The right candidate will be resourceful, able to make decisions, and professional in a fast-paced environment with strong project management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required or related field.
• ASQ/Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily engineering assistance to production to facilitate safety, quality, and delivery of orders to Customers.
• Lead new equipment installation and qualification.
• Interface with Customers to lead new part and process development and qualification projects.
• Support external and internal audits with technical expertise.
• Support Customer Satisfaction initiatives and escalations to closure.
• Develop chemical processes, mechanical designs, and/or robotic programs.
• Perform DFMEA/PFMEA risk assessments.
• Interpret prints for precision cleaning, surface enhancement, and measurement processes meeting customer requirements.
• Provide technical training to internal staff on cleaning, surface enhancement procedures and maintenance plans.
• Update Process Control Plans to control variation in outgoing quality.
• Deploy and manage SPC programs and MSA studies; analyze data for improvements.
• Disposition nonconforming materials and define inspection criteria.
