You will work with cross-functional engineers, develop procedures, analyze data, and present findings in a final report. Strong communication, teamwork, and safe-lab practices are essential for this paid internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Nanoscience or Engineering.
• Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical engineering; Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields.
• Experience with Statistical Design and Analysis of Experiment methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be able to work in teams as well as individually.
• Experience working safely in a laboratory environment with hazardous chemicals.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop new or modified processes and methods in semiconductor manufacturing, fabrication, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with group engineers to propose criteria and formats for hardware and process evaluations.
• Compile, analyze and present experimental data to colleagues.
• Create and revise standard operating procedures and document tasks for future reference.
• Analyze test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.
• Assist in interpretation of physical and chemical behaviors as part of process characterization.
• Familiarize with semiconductor processing techniques through literature and hands-on learning.
• Prepare and present a final project report.
• Complete safety training to allow supervised work in the TEL process lab.
