Job summary

Corning Inc. in the United States is seeking a skilled semiconductor/process engineer to support deposition, lithography, etch, and related tooling within a semiconductor fabrication lab.

You will work with scientists to execute experiments, collect metrology data, and help troubleshoot processes, ensuring stable, repeatable substrate processing. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in semiconductor or microfabrication, or an Associate’s with 2–3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience in a cleanroom, process development lab, pilot line, or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with deposition, photolithography, etch, plating, anneal, cleaning, bonding, or metrology.
• Ability to follow process documentation, SOPs, travelers, and equipment instructions.
• Experience with semiconductor process development, engineering builds, pilot-line operations, or low-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Run process tools, execute qualified recipes, and support equipment uptime through routine checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Support engineering builds and DOE execution by preparing materials, running split conditions, and tracking process flow.
• Perform metrology, record process data, and maintain accurate sample and tool documentation.
• Maintain cleanroom discipline, material traceability, and contamination-control practices while supporting overall lab operations.
