Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Patent Agent with semiconductor experience in Washington, DC. You will draft patent applications, respond to USPTO communications, and assist attorneys in delivering efficient legal services.

Qualified candidates have a technical degree and at least 3 years of patent prep/prosecution experience, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel as needed. Hybrid work arrangement applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years in patent preparation and prosecution in semiconductors.
• USPTO registration preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare draft patent applications for inventions.
• Draft responses to USPTO and foreign offices.
• Discuss technical aspects with clients and inventors.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to manage patent work.
