Job summary

EMD Electronics in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking an Operations Supervisor for MEGASYS® to lead technicians in semiconductor chemical and gas management, schedule work, and ensure zero interruptions. This role blends hands-on supervision with project coordination and customer-facing responsibilities.

You will drive safety, coach teams, maintain MAXIMO records, and partner with engineering and service delivery to meet deadlines. Travel nationwide as needed; relocation options may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 2+ years in semiconductor/manufacturing
• 8+ years in manufacturing with HS diploma equivalent as alternative
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience in electronics/chemical manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Drive safety-first culture and ZERO targets in safety and quality
• Oversee shifts and supervise technicians
• Lead continuous improvement and communicate changes across shifts
• Ensure flawless handoffs and clear customer expectations
• Main customer contact for operations and projects
• Maintain ZERO gas/chemical interruptions and proper reporting
• Train and certify technicians in scope of work
• Maintain shift schedules and address attendance/performance issues
