Job summary

Insight Global seeks an MES & Factory Automation Software Engineer to support the implementation and operation of MES, CIM, automation, quality, and AI-enabled manufacturing systems for a greenfield factory. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing IT, factory automation, or semiconductor manufacturing systems.
• Hands-on experience with MES, CIM/EAP/RMS, automation, logistics, or quality systems (SPC, FDC).
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
• Experience supporting production manufacturing systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing system solutions based on business requirements.
• Configure, test, and support MES and related manufacturing software systems.
• Integrate MES with CIM/EAP, automation, quality, and data platforms.
• Maintain manufacturing master data such as process flows, equipment, recipes, and materials.
• Support equipment and automation interfaces in collaboration with vendors.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, go-live, and post go-live stabilization.
• Troubleshoot system issues impacting manufacturing operations.
• Document system functionality, enhancements, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, IT, and automation teams.
