Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Summary: Mechanical Technicians are responsible for system repair, maintenance, and overall operation in the semiconductor industry. Systems can include but are not limited to: exhaust systems, chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, and HVAC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support maintenance of mechanical and process systems
• Coordinate project work with operations personnel, facilities engineers, and other technicians in a live factory environment
• Complete detailed work plans and workplace documentation
• Troubleshoot controls, wiring, and instrumentation
• Execute work plans for maintenance, repair, and system restoration without unplanned impacts
• Understand overall system operations from a facilities perspective
• Troubleshoot field devices, control hardware, and software

This is a night shift position with weekend work required: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and alternating Wednesdays from 5:45 pm to 6:15 am.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field with 3+ years of experience in industrial mechanical systems or vibration analysis
• Strong understanding of HVAC and process systems (CHW and HW)
• Experience with mechanical instrumentation such as flow, pressure, temperature, control valves, AFDs, etc.
